Louis is also the Founder of the Investment Banking Association, and volunteer instructor at the University of Hawaii College of Business Administration.

Louis is of Native Hawaiian ancestry and a member of Pa Ku`i A Holo.
He received his BBA in Finance and Executive MBA with a focus on mergers & acquisitions from the University of Hawaii, College of Business Administration.
