Greetings and welcome to the NHLDEF Forum!

The purpose of this forum is to provide a space for individuals interested in Hawaiian issues to have a voice. We welcome all points of view, pro or con, for any and all issues and welcome a good, healthy debate. There are however certain guidelines we would like all participants to follow.

Except in rare cases, we consider most individuals, whether pro or con with an issue:

• To be good, honest people.
• To be as concerned with the world and it's inhabitants as everyone else is.
• To love their children as much as everybody does and want to create a better life for them.

Because of this:

• We expect the dialogue to be courteous & respectful.
• We will post every article as long as it adds to the debate.
• We will return an article for rewrite if we feel it's nasty or unhelpful.
  Keep in mind that a soberly made point is far more effective than a rant.
